The Lexicon MX200 is a stereo multi-effects processor and includes the Lexicon Digital Reverb using the LexiChip engine. It features a dual channel (2) mode as well as true stereo mode and has many of the effects the MPX100 had plus many new items. In Dual Channel mode the two DSP channels can be combined as Dual Mono, Cascade (series), stereo, or mono split (2 completelydifferent effects).

Some of the effects include a digital delay with up to 5.5 seconds of delay, a stereo chorus, echo, detune, flane, pitch shift, rotary (leslie) Tremolo, detune, and a new digital compressor. The Digital Compressor is available on all 240 of the MPX's presets. You can store your own patchs in 64 user preset locations.

The MPX200 also has 24-bit AD and DA Converters and maintains a audio data path is 24-bits so you can be sure of the Lexicon sound. There is even a S/PDIF in/out port for connecting directly to the unit from you Digital Audio Workstation.

The unit can provide 2 effects plus the digital compressor running simultaneously. A great thing about this lexicon unit is that it has a headphone output as well as a software selectable MIDI OUT/THRU port, and footswitch selection of dry or muted audio output. So you can test your effects only track while still playing your guitar for instance.
